top tips for organising toy cars & vehicles
It would only be fair to give you some tips on organising toy vehicles and cars as my previous post was all about dolls! Kids love playing with all kinds of vehicles, whether it be buses, cars, trains or trucks they can often be very chunky and take over a lot of space, so storing them effectively will mean they dont take over your home.
For bigger toy cars, shelves are really useful storage. Place as many on the shelf as possible, and you could even colour code them for effect!
For smaller toy cars you can also get these amazing wall shelves to store lots of cars and make it a feature of the room.
Crates are super useful to store toy cars & vehicles why not categorise by size so you know what you have and the kids will find it easy to store!
Under the bed - often a forgotten place but can be so useful for storage, whether its big cars placed neatly underneath or larger crates for smaller ones or larger trainsets its a useful space that is often forgotten about!
Store toys inside toys - if you have a big truck, or a garage why not store smaller cars inside so it takes up less space.
Going away but still want to take with a selection of cars, how about this storage bag which will keep all the little cars together and organised.
Most importantly get your kids involved in tidying up, and show them the organising system, and reward them when they do tidy. It shouldn’t be down to the parents to make sure they keep their toys tidy all the time.
